A bit of a scattered video, but I want to address men and losing their emotional awareness, Fresh and Fit's fallout due to losing control of their emotions and how Rich Cooper from Entrepreneurs In Cars calls me out (in the correct logical way) and a response to that.

This is Lock & Dam 19 at Keokuk, Iowa (stretching across to Hamilton, Illinois). I was lucky enough to be there as a barge was going through. They fill up the lock, the barge floats in, they pump all the water out, then the barge moves on down the river.
If the barge had been moving up the river, they'd empty the lock, it would've floated in, they would've pumped water in, then the barge would continue up the river.
The dam at Keokuk hides the Des Moines Rapids, running from about Nauvoo to Hamilton. They are now buried under more than 10 feet of water. Without the dam, the river would be 2-5 feet deep, but wouldn't allow for boat traffic.
In order to get up & down that part of the river, you either needed to pull your cargo with oxen or take it off the river entirely & transport it by wagon.
