So on Sunday my external hard drive was throwing errors & windows disk fix couldn't correct shit. On Monday I drove to the closest Microcenter (6+ hours, for some new emergency hardware and LET ME TELL YOU Microcenter is the GOAT⚡btw!!) and visited my in mom in Florida for the day while knocking out getting my DL renewed.
Long story long, I'm back and making an emergency Backup. A Linux recovery boot image is able to recover the data windows can't even see on the damn drive, so I'm backing up my entire library to a new DAS system I grabbed and using it in raid 5. The new 'failproof' system ran me $1,368 for everything.
Also... Fuck A.I. and it's price increases on hardware.
It's going to take 24 hours plus, so no C. U. N. T. tonight but I have to recover everything before I lose 16TB of movies and TV. I keep you all posted.
So you guys have various preferences for television night. Some are very obscure that I can't find for download so I'll have to dig a bit deeper, but leave a list and I'll snap as many as I can up. I'll likely need to get a larger hard drive at some point, but we can get started.
