A friendly reminder about the discussions and threads posted here.

Warning - writing is not my forte so please remember I suck at it. I tend to run on to make sure my points are well covered so I apologize in advance for that.

I've not been asked to censor anyone in a while, but we are seeing some rather "interesting" discussions and posts here, so I want to leave a reminder about post policies.

I've always felt sunlight is the best disinfectant when it comes to speech. When we chase people out of communities or don't allow them to speak their minds, even if the vast majority disagree, two things happen:

  • One, no one sees what the 'other' side has to say, no matter how much you may hate what is being said. If that happens, people can't learn what to agree or disagree with or expand their minds; this is how thought bubbles and conformation bias happen, which I think stifles intellectual growth.

  • Two, without hearing opposing sides, there is no chance for conversation and perhaps changing someone else's (or your own) views. For example, I am conservative, liberal and libertarian in my various views on life, all from listening to various discussions many of which I disagreed with.

I hate anything that speaks against people due to race, religion, politics or personal views, I feel it doesn't allow for individuals to be just that, individuals. It incorrectly judges them on group identity and is no better than what authoritarians, racists and politicians currently do. I personally hate some comments I've seen here, but I allow them so the discussions can happen. Again, when we don't allow certain dialogs, no one learns, even if the only thing you learn is that you really hate someone's views or dislike them as a person. I'm fine in hearing what they have to say and can choose on a personal level to ignore or block them (which I've never done).

Remember you can click on someone's profile, go to the ' ... 'on their profile and block, mute etc. and you won't see any conversations or posts from that person. I don't censor speech here unless absolutely necessary, but you're welcome to mute or silence anyone you see fit to, it's a personal choice, it's not up to me to determine what is or isn't allowed here other than direct personal threats or porn.

When you decide the conversation needs to continue with insults and shit posting, the discussion is over, I ask at that point in time you just ignore each other if that's how you feel.

But be clear, if anyone decides to start directly attacking a religion, race, ethnic background, with just threats or insults, and no discussion is to be had, well then perhaps it's time to consider keeping your thoughts to yourself. Not everything needs to be shared and I do want to keep this a community where everyone feels welcome.

I love this community and you guys and gals rock and are my go-to source for information. Let's just keep it reasonable please.

Better Bachelor Podcast Episode 42 Men and Emotions Don't Mix

A bit of a scattered video, but I want to address men and losing their emotional awareness, Fresh and Fit's fallout due to losing control of their emotions and how Rich Cooper from Entrepreneurs In Cars calls me out (in the correct logical way) and a response to that.

Content Farm - I'd like your help please

Gang, as you know finding new content can be time consuming and maddening at the same time. NOTHING sucks worse than wanting to do some videos and not being able to find things to talk about. After 1300 videos I feel like I've run out of steam.

I could use your help. If you come across interesting content you'd like to see discussed and broken down, please post it below. We might get duplicates and things I may decide not to discuss, but it will help me find new ideas and perhaps new topics. Please stay away from horrible women raping or murdering, it's too depressing to really do content on; women suffering from bad decisions is of course certainly acceptable. Video compilations other creators do aren't my thing, but videos on YouTube or elsewhere from dimwitted women are perfect. Anything regarding gaming, military, government, job workplace, movies and DEI or insufferable women also great.

I'll pin this here and leave it up, and then I have a repository to go through at video time....
