"they're adults, they'll be fine, and note, I didn't make this choice. You did. Take some accountability. It's funny, in a few weeks, me, [daughter], dog, and [son] will all be at my place. And you'll be here alone, reflecting on the choice you made to destroy your family."

Daughter, my dog, and I moved out, HER son sleeps at her house, spends all his non-work waking time at mine. He's my son. We're not blood, but he's mine.

This is the 8th time a serious LT relationship has ended through no choice of mine, and at this point, it doesn't hurt any more. I think I went into this knowing this was the likely outcome, so I never let myself get in deep enough to get destroyed.
