I received some good news today; my current six month contract was coming to an end at the end of the month. It finally got approved though in a rather unusual manner.
My manager in AL sponsors my company ID number, but a manager in CA sponsors my company badge. Usually it is the same person, but I assume because I got moved from the CA commercial group to the AL military group but still work for both groups.
The CA manager extended my contract until the end of the year. My AL manager was talking about three months so that's a nice surprise. The work on the VC-25B may not last that long, but it's a good sign in any case.
