I swear I found my long lost twin. Not in looks but in how our minds work. We're union brothers n im workin in his local. Found out he can just swing by n pick me up on way to the job sites. We talk bout shit every day on ride home with couple road beers in the company truck. Hes from Arizona and ended up here in Ohio Amish country. We both grew up pretty much dirt poor, caused all kinds of trouble when we were younger, like the same types of vehicles, etc. We'll see someone bein an idiot on the road n same time say "fuck outta the way idiot" or "hang up the phone retard." Other day as we left work our apprentice who lives up road from me said, check out that car. Me n partner both said FUCK YEAH! Hell last week a blacked out dodge viper passed us n we both turned our heads to watch it n said oh fuck a viper! Bout only difference is he found his good woman years ago and has a solid nuclear family with zero issues from his supportive wife and well behaved daughters. Some people have asked how long we known each other n we'll say "bout a month" n they can't believe we act almost the exact same in every situation. Makes the work day more fun. Id been drivin bout 2 miles to the river to get picked up then Friday he said well gotta get the apprentice too. I said mind pickin me up at the church infront of my house? Yeah no problem man! End of day he dropped me off in my driveway n said "well now I know where ya live." I replied "ur the 3rd union brother in 10 yrs whos seen my place. remember I'm heavily armed." He laughed n said "hell I'll just come down to drink beer. Been past ur house a lot n never knew it."
