So a story has broken and I have to say, the misandrist tone and double standards are off the charts. It actually makes me sick.

A male former JP Morgan banker accused a female superior of intense sexual harassment and abuse, amounting to rape. He filed a civil complaint and tried to keep his name secret as a victim. The complaint was pretty lurid, accusing her of drugging him and raping him as well as groping him about the office and in private on many, many occasions.

Instantly, she denied it publicly, and then somehow the man's name and photo got released to then public. Then the public started making fun of him, making jokes about how "awful" it must be to have an attractive female superior wanting to have sex with you all the time. Others have assumed he's just lying, since "women can't do this" or that "he's too ugly for her to harass."

The man has since withdrawn the civil complaint in shame and fear for "correction".

Even after both #MeToo and all the female school teacher rape scandals, somehow the idea that a man can be sexually victimized by a female is both laughable and unbelievable. I don't know if the man's accusations were true, but certainly exposing his name and picture publicly for ridicule is something the press would NEVER do to an alleged female victim. The ridicule caused him to withdraw the complaint and not seek justice.

Sure, the guy could be lying; that's what a court case would show or not show. But the treatment by the press and the public--releasing his name and photo, ridiculing his claims, flatly believing her denials-- shows that #MeToo is a double standard wielded by women against men, and men have no protections.

Makes me sick, guys. It's serious.
